Weekend Window
Its pretty surprising, that its been more than a week since i came over and this is the first time am blogging. for all who don't know, am in Cape Town. Its truly a beautiful city. People do have their opinions about beauty of this city cos of the alarming rate of unemployment, assaults, and HIV cases(1 out of every 5). But the city has been good to me in many ways till date, so I've got not much to complain, except that I dont have a car of my own. No car, no life. Should have got my driving license in India. Big mistake. Anyway, am staying in a suburb called Blauberg, which is about 25-30 miles from the town. But this place is awesome. great beaches and great eat-outs. Office.. work.. am not going to crib, so lets just drop it right there.Kitchen and Living Room

Robben Island - Nelson Mandela was kept prisoner here
Saturday(today), was great. I met up with couple of HC members. I met Tj and J (donut want to name them for obvious reasons). They were a pretty cool pair. I had lunch with them, and we had a great time talking to each other. we spoke about Indian culture and how conventional it was compared to Capetonian culture, about night-outs, the 'to-do' and the 'to-eat' things of cape town and lot more. Finally when we parted Tj offered a hug, and it took me long to understand it. By the time I responded with a hug back, people around started looking at me and guess they were thinking what a wacko i was. Anyway... by the time i responded and hugged her back, she turned around and said, "Its OK, in south Africa we hug people". the blush on my face cos of the embarrassment was way too much. She reminds me a lot of someone i knew back home. J was real sweet too. Very humble and a real nice chap. Great to meet you guys!!!
Little Miss Sunshine
Its about all those little things that make life good or bad. The picture beautifully brings out individuality and sense of family which immaterial of what, still is your family. 8.0 of 10.
