What i am surprized at is the reaction of the Minister. What sense does it make to announce a relief of 1 lakh for the family.
Instead he should have taken the Municipal / Civil authorities in that area to task for allowing such huge number of stray dogs.
Also, he should rather have released funds for the Municipal authorities to improve their infrastructure and develop a robust system so that not only the problem of stray dogs but any kind of civil issues can be handled effectively.
The current response is more like a cover up act rather than real step towards solving the problem.
