TV, News and Crap...
What the hell has happened these media people? Their increasing number of 'Exclusives', 'Breaking News', 'SanSani Khabar' and all that crap is just a clear example of presence of too many news channels but nothing noteworthy and worthwhile to show. Boss, let me make a point clear just because you have to make your point heard and stand distinct doesnt mean you have to prove the world what a fool you are. As there is a certain line, I just got reminded of " The man who expresses his foolishness is stupid, whereas the man who express stupidity is an idiot ". That is the sad state of affairs in the Indian News channel scenario. Right from the Melodramatic rescue mission of Prince(With all due respect and concern) to the 'flood' hyped situation created for Mumbai and to the building burning scene of the mall in Meerut. This is just too much.
The flood scene in Mumbai never occured but somehow the media had to show rain and water so landed up at Milan subway, which gets flooded even if ten people in the locality forget to close their taps. I remember a funny instance where the camera man was focussing 'LIVE' on a guy who was in 'neck deep water'. Just when the reporter started explaining about the inabilities of the Govt. and the administration, the 'neck deep' guy stood up and was walking comfortably. It was just about deep till his knees or max till his hips. And all of this when the rain was just about 1/8th of the rain that graced mumbai last year. I remember this had started about 8-10 months ago, when i had seen one of the hindi news channels("Till Today") giving a breaking news that flashed on the screen and said "Madonna sprained her left ankle". The status has not improved much I see. They continue to 'terrorise', 'drown', 'scandalise' and 'rescue' our television and the country.
Somebody Stop the Crap...
