Boredom and Wisdom
You know what? I just found out why Budha or any other wise men beecame the wise men that they were. Basically they were bored. They were bored as they had nothing else to do, of course being a prince gives you lot of leisure time to think about the world and the place around you.
And the place where you sat and thought is bound to become a place of sanctity ( the place below the knowledge tree, i mean). And far down the future am sure Budha never expected someone to come and see the place that he was seated in.
Something like that was just about to happen to me. I was going to get enlightened sitting in office. And the chair that i was seated was soon going to become a place of national importance. Am sure centuries later people would have visited some place, probably a museum, and seen a note under the chair, "This is the place where a software company employee got enlightened".
But i guess the future does not seem to like the idea. And that is when, my fate (though i do not believe in it) drags me through a different route. Am supposed to go Delhi for a project. Can you imagine, Delhi was the one place i never hesitated to say ill about. cos i didnt like the place the one time that i had been there. The part that i hated most about it is the people there.
Strange how things happen the way you wish them to, and when they happen, you wonder why does it always happen to me(in a sad tone). I have almost got used of this self contradicting state of mind. All that i do at this point is to split up me and myself as different entities and let them both argue and settle things out. Obviously as you would expect it never gets solved out, instead the state of confusion and uncertainity continues to prevail.
So the crux of the story is that am going to Delhi on a prohject related to implementation of a leading product in the market(maintaining confidentiality). ;-) The dates for my travel, i will come to know only the next week. So till then am planning to spam and cause high network traffic all the game sites and movie review sites that i can imagine of.
Hey Delhi here i come.
